The Secret of Draupadi's Purity
It is well known that Draupadi had five husbands. But very few people know how she lived with them. Draupadi was not born in her mother's womb like everyone else. She was born out of fire as a teenage woman. But when she went from one husband to another, she was a virgin.
That's what it is. She used to walk through the fire as she passed from one husband to another. After that, when she became a virgin, she went to another husband.
Story of Draupadi's Past Lives :::
Drupada said, "Is it not against the world to give a virgin to five men?"
In the past, Indrasena, the wife of the sage Maudgalya, was a great chastity. Maudgalya is suffering from leprosy. Yet it serves without hating. One day, when she was feeding her husband and eating the rest of the rice, she saw that her husband's finger was stuck in it and she put it aside and ate the rest of the rice. Moudgalya was astonished to see this. "O Indrasena! Your devotion to your husband is amazing. I will give you whatever boon you want." I didn't have any desires. Your appearance comes in the way of that. May you become the Five Beautiful Forms and fulfill my desires." Moudgalya agreed to this and assumed five beautiful forms and fulfilled his wife's wish. Then he went to Brahmaloka. But Indrasena, who did not fulfill her wishes, was born as the daughter of the king of Kashi in the next birth. She remained a virgin for a long time. She did penance for Lord Shiva. Lord Shiva appeared and said, "Ask what you want." Seeing Shiva, Indrasena said five times, "I want a husband." Lord Shiva said to her, "You will have five husbands in your next life." Hearing that, she realized her mistake. "Oh my God! Isn't it against the world for a virgin to have five husbands? I don't want this boon." Lord Shiva replied, "Sadhvi, you will live righteously with five husbands." If that is the case, I need constant service. I want a solitary life with each other. I want to live in a house where my virginity is not spoiled." Lord Shiva gave her the boon she wanted. He said, "You go and fetch Indra from the banks of the Ganges." At that time, Yama Dharmaraja was performing Satra Yagna. The creature did not commit violence because he was on a sacrificial fast. The death toll in the world has decreased and the burden of the land has increased. The gods Indra went to the world of Brahma and said, "God, if there is no death, what is the difference between us and humans? You have to tell me the answer to that." Lord Brahma replied, "Stay calm till the Yama Satra Yagna is over. Then he puts an end to humans. Heroes born of your brilliance and Yama's brilliance will help him." The gods went to Indraloka and saw the daughter of the king of Kashi crying on the banks of the Ganges. Indra asked, "Why are you crying?" She said, "If you want to know that, you have to come with me." At that time Lord Shiva was playing dice with a young woman. Indra said proudly, "Why do you gamble before me, the lord of the three worlds?" Shiva got angry and said, "Don't speak proudly if you can, break the cave." When Indra opened the cave, he was surprised to see four people like him. Lord Shiva took his true form and said, "May your five Indras be born in the human world. The princess of Kashi will be born as a human being, and will become your wife.' Vyasa said, "King Dhripada, those five Indras are the Pandavas. Yajnaseni is the daughter of the king of Kashi growing up in your house. If you have any doubts, look at their true forms." He saw their true forms. Vyasa said, "Drupada! In the past, the sons of Rajarshi, Nitanta, also won the daughter of Aushinara in the swayamvara and married her. So give your daughter in marriage to the Pandavas."
